By accessing or using Apologia Daily ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Apologia Daily is operated by Apologia Daily ("we", "us", or "our"). These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
Apologia Daily is a Christian apologetics platform providing educational content, AI-powered tools, and interactive features to help users defend and articulate their Christian faith. The Service includes:
Some features are available to all users free of charge. Other features require a paid Pro subscription.
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update this information as necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account, and you agree to give your real month and year of birth when asked. Study Groups are for users aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service. We may close any account we believe belongs to a child under 13; see our Privacy Policy (section 9) for how a parent can ask us to delete one.
Study Groups, where members can message each other, are only for users aged 18 or over. Group hosts may remove members, and we may remove any message or group that breaks these Terms.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The Service uses artificial intelligence to power several features including Asked & Answered, the Debate Arena, and the AI Tutor. These features are provided for educational purposes only.
AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. You should always verify important information through authoritative theological and scholarly sources.
AI responses are not a substitute for pastoral guidance, professional theological advice, or personal Bible study. We encourage you to engage with qualified pastors, theologians, and Christian communities.
Pro is not on sale yet. This section describes how it will work when it launches; nothing is charged until you choose to subscribe.
Price and billing. Pro is a monthly subscription. The price (in Australian dollars, including GST where it applies) will be set before launch and shown to you before you pay. You are charged at the start of each monthly period.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every month, and you will be charged for each new month, until you cancel.
Where you pay. If you subscribe on our website, payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. If you subscribe in our iPhone or Android app, payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms, and their refund and cancellation processes apply.
Confirmation. We (or Apple or Google) will email you a confirmation and receipt when you subscribe and for each renewal.
How to cancel. Cancel any time, online, with no need to contact us: on the website, from your Dashboard (under “Account”); in the app, in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for.
Refunds. We do not refund part of a month when you cancel. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other consumer law that applies to you: if the Service has a major failure, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a refund. Email contact@apologiadaily.com if something is wrong.
Price changes. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect. It applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then if you do not want to continue at the new price.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Apologia Daily and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Service summarises and discusses published scholarship, books, and arguments from third-party authors and scholars, always with attribution and in our own words. The views summarised belong to their respective authors, and reference to any author, work, ministry, or organisation does not imply their endorsement of, or affiliation with, Apologia Daily. All third-party names, titles, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced for educational and informational purposes only.

User-generated content — such as study group messages — remains your property. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content to provide and improve the Service.
Copyright complaints. We respect the rights of authors and publishers. If you believe something on the Service (our own content, or a message a user has posted) infringes your copyright, email contact@apologiadaily.com with the subject “Copyright complaint” and include:
We will review it promptly, remove or disable the material if the complaint appears valid, and tell the person who posted it. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our email with your reasons (and, if you are in the United States, a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of your local federal court); we may restore it unless the complainant tells us they have started legal action. We close the accounts of people who repeatedly post infringing material. These steps follow the notice-and-takedown approach of Australian copyright law and of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
The theological and apologetics content provided through the Service represents one perspective within the broad Christian tradition. We encourage you to engage critically with all content and to consult multiple sources in your faith journey.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apologia Daily shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
